Hotel Vinhuset offers group prices
Hotel Vinhuset exudes atmosphere in its historical settings. That is because Vinhuset has been the town's hotel since 1778. Parts of the fantastic building date all the way back to the 16th century. The hotel has now been carefully restored and offers 57 cosy rooms with bathroom en suite, TV and free wireless internet. All the rooms are individually decorated with a very unique style - who knows, perhaps you will get the blue, green or red room?
Næstved is one of Denmark's oldest towns. If you are interested in history, the town itself is worth a walk around with all its old brick-built buildings, which replaced many of the old timber-framed houses in the middle of the 19th century. For those people interested in cars, Næstved Automobile Museum is worth a visit. Here you will find 3,000 sq.m. filled with cars, motorcycles, mopeds, farming machines, aeroplanes, workshops and small businesses from the 1950s and much more.
Gavnø, which is just outside the town is home to a castle, convent church, castle brewery and Søsrøverland (Pirate Land) for the children. Enjoy a sailing trip on M/S Friheden over the shallow waters, Mellemgrundet, where only a few boats can sail.
