Welcome to Hotel Vinhuset's restaurants
Hotel Vinhuset houses two cozy restaurants: "Restaurant Bytinget" and "Restaurant Vinhuskælderen".
Restaurant Bytinget is on the ground floor with a view towards St. Peders Kirkeplads and Vinhusgade.
In Restaurant Bytinget, breakfast, conference lunches and dinner are served for those guests who have food included in their stay.
The restaurant is also used for confirmations, as well as brunch and receptions for weddings before the party is to be held.
Restaurant Vinhuskælderen is the hotel's à la carte restaurant and is located in the basement below the hotel and has room for 40 diners at a time.
The beautiful vaults date back to the 1500th century. Some call the cellar "Munkekælderen", and there are stories that in the old days there was an underground passage from here and out to Skovklostret / Herlufsholm. It's a good story, but it's not true.
The basement has from ancient times "only" been used as a storage basement. But that does not make the basement less beautiful and unique today. In the basement we serve delicious food at popular prices.
For both our restaurants, the menu changes several times a year, so we can always serve well-cooked food based on seasonal fresh ingredients.
