Hotel Vinhuset oozes atmosphere in its historic setting. The winery has been the city's hotel since 1778. Parts of the fantastic building date back to the 1500th century. The hotel has now been lovingly restored and offers 56 cozy rooms with private bath / toilet, TV and free wireless internet. All rooms are individually decorated with a completely unique style - who knows, maybe you will get the blue, green or red room?
Næstved and surroundings
Næstved is one of Denmark's oldest towns. If you are interested in history, the town itself is worth a walk, with all its old brick houses, which replaced many of the old half-timbered houses in the mid-1800s. For car enthusiasts, Næstved Automobilmuseum is worth a visit. Here, 3000 m2 is filled with cars, motorcycles, mopeds, agricultural machinery, planes, workshops and small shops from the 50s and much more.
Gavnø, a little outside the city, houses both a castle, a monastery church, a castle brewery and Søroverland for the children. Also enjoy a sailing trip with M/S Friheden over the shallow waters of Mellemgrundet, where only a few ships can sail.
